The AA
The AA recently attended me on the motorway. The lights were on as the car was on the hard shoulder of the motorway and not on the roundabout. When he loaded the car the lights were still on sd it was dark. I did not travel with the vehicle as he called me an ambulance as I was unwell. I did provide my home address.
The lights were left on after unloading as were still on when retrieving the car 3 days later hence flat battery requiring replacement.
In view of this I find the negligence unacceptable and this has cost me money for the replacement.
I also am dismayed regarding the additional detail and confusion regarding the whereabouts of the car and keys. In addition the time taken to investigate this I also find unacceptable.
The AA have refused to pay for a new battery
Please advise next steps
Darren

Why do you need to replace the flat battery?0

I'm not surprised they've refused to pay for a battery. The existing one just needs charging - unless it was near-death anyway...
How old is the battery?
What car are we talking about?0 -
A car alternator won't charge a totally flat battery, a battery charger will. Maybe that's what was needed?
