Selling your house with minimal EA involvement?

Hi there
Has anyone handled the selling of their own house before? I am thinking of paying an online EA for a listing on Rightmove etc but then doing all the viewings and fielding any offers myself. Can anyone recommend an online EA for this?
Thank you

Many won't view through online EAs. The biggie is Purple Bricks - search the forum for opinions. Most aren't great.
EAs do far more than just find you a buyer.
You'll prob still end up doing most of the viewings even if you have a 'bricks and mortar' EA.
No, I'm not an EA
Fees and terms are usually negotiable if you go with a non-online EA. I'd not sign up for more than 8 weeks (preferably 6), and I'd not pay over 1%. Watch the smallprint too regarding future sales if you change agents!2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Often the easy bit is finding a buyer!1

To be fair when I bought my home I had to do a lot of work myself to keep the chain going....so wondering if I can save a few quid. I won't be in a chain so that is 1 headache out the way."Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits" Thomas Edison

We bought with no chain, and at one point were speaking to the Estate Agents at least once a day getting solicitors hurried along etc. Are you willing/available to dedicate this amount of time?0
