I have a car that got advisories for brake pipes 3 years running, then no mention of them in year 4 at a different garage. On the flip side of that, I had a car that got an advisory on the brake pipes during the MOT. The garage I go to for servicing said they would remind me to get it fixed in 6 months or so. But they forgot.Several months later, I took the car in for another fault, and reminded them about the brake pipes. When they got the car up on the ramp, they decided it was the worst they had ever seen, and ripped the whole lot out. All the rigid pipes, and all the flexi hoses. It's a garage I have used for many years, and I trust them to tell me what needs fixing and what doesn't.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
