    I am sure others may disagree but you seem to have tried to pull the wool over eBay's eyes not once but twice.  And you got caught.

    Pay the bill, move on and recoup it another way.

    I don't understand why you increased the price to £99.99? Why not just end the auction once the item was no longer available?

    Useful advice:  When you try to defraud large companies, anticipate that they probably have systems and processes in place to detect very obvious attempts.

    The simple answer is that eBay usually restrict or even suspend people who do that.
