Multifunction oven still in warranty how many repairs before replacement

John Lewis are allowed to contract Panasonic to fix the problem. They are not allowed to wash their hand of their responsibilities afterwards.I told John Lewis that I understood the consumer rights act was between them and me and not Panasonic but he said he was told it wasn't because he has sought a resolution to the problem by contacting Panasonic
The CRA states that repair should be in a "reasonable" time and "without significant inconvenience" so they have failed on both of those as well.
If it were me I would take the NN CF7785, in person, to the nearest John Lewis, with a complete history of what happened and calmly and patiently sit in customer services explaining the issue until they resolve it.1 -
Hi all
Approximately 10am Panasonic emailed me asking for a copy of the purchase invoice, sent it immediately and less than an hour later they gave me an uplift number, said to contact JL to arrange a replacement or refund in full, Panasonic came good in the end.
Having taken today to consider what to do I have decided to ask for a refund because although my previous oven of the same model was good I am not sure about the recent version. There is a bulletin released by Panasonicfor engineers stating only the elements on the left are lit and it is the fan that distributes the heat and this makes me think there is history of issues with these ovens and I just don't want to rake the risk of more hassle in the future.
Thank you all of you for reading and helping it is so appreciated. I have not been on this site for quite some time and fogot how brilliant you all are.1
