Christmas Pressies for Gran

Hi Everyone,

My grandmother is in her 80s and she doesn't like/eat chocolates, biscuits, etc. She has also lost alot of weight recently and is probably a size 8 or 10 in clothes, though she insists she is a size 16. As a result we cannot really buy her any of these items for Christmas. My mu already makes her a food hamper with necessities, a bottle of alcohol and a calendar. e are a bit stuck for ideas of what to get and also don't have a great deal of money to spend on this.

I have thought of making her a small gift basket but have no idea as to what to put in it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks x

I once did my nan (also in her 80s) a stocking based on the things she used to receive as a child (sugar mouse, sixpence, paper dolls etc).

I have bought an elderly aunt a variety of yankee candles from Yankee Doodle. They were delivered today and smell wonderful. Also how about an audio book from play.com. Another present for an elderly aunt. I have bought her a Miss Read one and a Gervais Phinn one.
