Want to purchase the Freehold of our detached property.
The freeholder is the local council and i have the value and fee's in writing to purchase in total at £920.
Do I need a solicitor to purchase, if I do what sort of fee's should I expect knowing the freehold cost.

    Hi all,
Im also in a very simpler situation. We own the leasehold to our ground floor flat in Southwark, the whole building is owned (freeholder) is the council and the flat upstairs is rented to council Tenants. We are interested in finding out any information on buying share of freehold (if thats even possible)  or whole freehold from the council and would love if you could share any information you have found out on this topic.
    Thanks
