Used car from dealer - Registration/tax/V5?
I just bought my first car! I never saw the V5C document but dealer took care of the registration /tax and gave me the V5C/2 with my details on it and a receipt from the post office for the tax/registration, he said i will get the new V5C in the post and it may be a couple of weeks. What i find weird is they did this at the post offfice, my understanding is that they could have done it all online and would have been much easier/faster? Maybe im being parranoid as iv never bought a car before but hat reason would the salesman have to use the post office rather than his PC?
