Ivd just seen on Facebook, an advert asking did you purchase anything from currys in 2018, if you did then you could be entitled to compensation. Is this true, is there a process where if you've fallen victim to data protection where you can claim compensation. I don't want to use a claims company and is there a template if I can claim.
Cheers Paul

I am sure some of these ambulance chasing firms will convince people that they did suffer loss and distress (with some large exaggeration)....bit like the "been ill on holiday" cases, where a number of people ended up with very large bills (or even jail!) and wished they had never started a claim https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-437418800

You can’t claim for stress, so unless you have a provable financial loss forget it.0
