just a note re the above-there is some irony in so far as IF the OR is automatically  making PPI representations to credit card companies on my account, and if successful if achieving refunds -that PPI reclaim money would then go back to the same credit card companies where they are the vast majority of my creditors !!
Sort of paying themselves back in  in full   ,with  a bit left over for me maybe

This thread would be more suited to the Bankruptcy Board I think...

Hence there is probably  something in this for me ,provided that the OR is making such representations ,which i am struggling to find out, ;and thus  wondered if they did so as a matter of course ,as i guess they have a duty of care to recover everything they can ,but does that mean / include that  they will  automatically make PPI claims/representations ?

If I were you I would stop worrying and gnawing at whether or not you will get something. Your bankruptcy has more charges than just the amount you owed in capital, and it was a line in the sand as far as your credit goes. If the OR does get round to complaining, if they can, they will distribute the monies accordingly. If there is any left, they will give it to you. That's it.
If you want to know if they are actually obliged to complain, give them a ring and ask.

Very high probability they’ve made representations for the OP - as an example, Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) received circa 2 million queries* for information on potential PPI accounts.

Even where lenders have paid out to individuals in the past where the bankruptcy wasn’t known about, they’re having to pay the OR again because they should’ve received the funds previously.

OP - as above, you owe X amount but the charges and fees on top will be in the thousands. Stop worrying, move on with your life and don’t waste any more time on this. That supposed £3k surplus in your earlier posts will be swallowed up, I assure you.

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
  • Hi, just wondering if anyone could offer some advice: I had an early discharge from bankruptcy in 2009, after the Creditors were paid. In 2019, I submitted several PPI claims through a certain PPI claims company. This claims company said my (previous) bank (who was one of the Creditors) acknowledged that I am due several PPI refunds, for several products which I had. I then informed the PPI claims company of my bankruptcy. I have chased the PPI claims agency, for many months, but they just send me generic replies. I am getting no-where. My question is, who will get the PPI refunds?

    The OR.

You'll get the bill from the claims company.
