Am trying to help someone out with  their bill and the answer to this question would I believe help throw some light on  it.     Would the higher tier price  rate for simpler energy variable, have been  higher than  an ovo  standard  non tiered variable rate,  so that ovo  could offer a cheaper  rate to the customer who was willing to plan usage to maximise  the use of off peak?   Did ovo even have a standard non tiered rate on offer last year?

Perhaps you could ask whoever is seeking help from you to join here and ask their question directly. It's free, and anyone can join up.

They can also provide full drtails, which presumably you don't know about.

I find it's always easier to help someone directly, than via a third party.
