Hi Newbie here looking for some information.
I am switching from Boost to Bulb  hopefully Dual Fuel, Bulb have sent me an email saying the switch has been delayed, because of the way Boost has labelled my electricity meter with the national database.
I am to contact my supplier to change my meters profile class.
Im not sure what this means, can anyone help,
Thanks

This might indicate that you do not have an E7 meter for example but you are trying to move to an E7 tariff, or your meter type is incorrect... or that your meter is labelled as 'commercial' but you are moving to a domestic tariff...
What do you have at the moment and what are you trying to move to?

Having had the commercial/domestic problem myself,  I know you have to persuade your existing supplier to fix the database. Which is a bit awkward as the reason you need the fix is so you can drop them as supplier!

    Copntact Bulb for  clarification.

The Profile Class relates to the meter you have. It cannot usually be changed (except to correct an error) without changing the meter. Presumably Boost had no issue with it when they took over the supply at your address.
