    I don't think you are required to state the prize amount.  It isn't in the terms/conditions and I've read on previous threads people being asked if they needed to state the amount and the answer was NO!   Feel free to check the threads to confirm or deny this!
    Does it matter? If that is indeed the case, what difference does it make?

    If you think that's rude, you've obviously lived a blessed internet life! Posters like Jan post every day with links, rules and amounts and if the amount might not be necessary, it's still good to know.

    I really enjoy reading the chat on these threads.  Usually, the only rudeness is people banging on about not wanting the thread bumped!  Which they do by bumping the thread, duh!  Live and let live.  If it bothers them, they can unsubscribe, and just search for their favourite comps each day with keywords like wot I have to.  When I've got time to use the site.
