How long does a probate take?

Relative had probate in eight weeks.1

We've just exchanged on a property that required probate. Our solicitor advice around 6 weeks, but It took a little under 3 weeks to be granted.
The enture probate process can take a very long time, but that's for assets/money to be distributed. Once the grant of probate has been issued the house can be sold.Total savings 2018- £7450 (includes Lisa bonus)
