Okaaay here goes, buyer wants refund "wrong size"

Listed a high demand dressing up outfit size 8-10 and I'm pretty sure it was but the label was the only poxy thing I didn't take a picture of:mad: .

Sold fine etc

Buy got the item today and say it is a 6-8 and too small.

I sent a very polite reply saying email me a picture of the size label first of all, then send it back registered post and when I confirm by it's unique markings that it is mine I will refund including postage both ways.

It was paid by paypal.....

Fortunately it does have "unique markings" a bit of the binding is missing and I have detailed pics as I listed as "not quite perfect" and expected folks to ask.

I think I shall insist she posts it back (she is offering to drive from leicester to Brum to deliver it??).

If it is my item and my error I will paypal refund, no problem.

If it is not my item what then??

How can I defend the refund against a much lower value dress (which the smaller size will be). I can see it going as "item not as described" through paypal and being refunded without me being able to defend it:mad: :mad:

Why she didn't wait a bit and say it hadn't turned up (which I fully expected being a high value item!) I don't know...

Whatever, I think it has to come back by post and be refunded through paypal. But if she sends a switched item............

Apparently she has "all my original packing" yes but I don't think that proves it is my dress...Don't want to be stroppy so am stropping to you guys- sorry:o
