Anybody repaired walking boots?

I have had boots repaired, DIY and professionally.
I have to say that neither were that satisfactory as the repaired boots didn’t last very long after that or the repairs failed.
I wouldn’t regard it now as more than a temporary measure to let me look for/break-in a new pai.1 -
Thanks, in the end I bought new boots, although I only got to use them twice before lockdown, the coast path nearest us is closed so walking is limited to down to the beach and back.pogofish said:I have had boots repaired, DIY and professionally.

Yeah, but it costs same as new shoes
