CCJ 4 years old

I have a CCJ that's 4 years old on my credit file. I never denied owing the money ..in fact I was paying it off through a debt management plan. But the I split up from my partner and moved away.....he never sent me any outstanding mail. I went one day to get a loan and checked my file ...refused CCJ on it.
I never recieved the court papers as i was living at my mums...and i never thought it would get taken to court as i was paying it off on the DMP. If i had known i could of borrowed the money off my mum ...no problem...but I didnt until it was to late.
It's all paid off but I'm stuck for another 2 years and cant do anything until its removed....
Is there anyway I can get this removed from my credit file as I did not know about it until it was too late

You could have tried a set aside by consent before you settled the debt, that was the time to try that option, not now its paid off, no one has any incentive to do anything, and couldn`t now anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
