Hello, has any person got direct knowledge of this company https://doorsteps.co.uk
I am considering them when I offer self build house plots for sale in West Cumbria, 47 plots in total, they can offer a £99. commission deal.
They show very god Trustpilot reviews but like all reviews that can be manipulated.
I welcome any thoughts especially if you have used them.

No direct experience but a quick look.Hugely annoying pop ups on website.Upfront fee so no incentive to get a sale completed.Make their money selling related services to buyers and sellers - so the longer a sale takes, and the more buyers drop out, the more opportunity for them to sell related services.0

Might not you be better with a reputable local EA? Not sure of your exact location but (speaking as a fellow Cumbrian) West Cumbria (location depending of course) might not be the easiest place to sell the plots. A local EA could be better at tapping into the Sellafield workers market, etc.

We are using them, been fine so far. All we really wanted was to get our house on the big sites like rightmove. They took fab pics and it's a good advert, we've only been on four weeks, but steady stream of viewings, got five this weekend. Has one offer which we've turned down as early days.
We show them round, but it's an equestrian property, so estate agents would have left it to us anyway. You get a portal where you can see your viewings and you get feedback. Why would anyone pay 4k? That is what we were quoted by high st EAs.-1 -
Looking into selling online, anybody had experience of these yet?0

I've used them, paid £99 and then an extra £99 for a premium Rightmove advert. I would definitely use them again because of how cheap they are, but you do get for what you pay for which is basically just a Rightmove advert if you pick the basic package. I took my own photos, wrote my advert description and did the viewings, which I was happy with.
I didn't go for their conveyancing service though as I didn't want to risk going budget with that!0 -
I tried viewing a house that was listed by doorsteps. However, after requesting a viewing I never heard anything back, I tried 4 times over 2 weeks to view this house and never got a response. I called doorsteps multiple times who promised to contact vendor and let me know, but I never heard a thing. I absolutely adored the house but pursuing something else now as I couldn’t ever view it. 5 months later it’s still listed on rightmove where as with all my other saved properties, they are under offer or sold STC0
