Hi all, first time poster here. I've just received a tect from "hmrc" saying I'm entitled to a tax rebate and asking me to click on a link. Is this a con or legit.

It's a well known scam!

Scam. No Government department will send out texts of that sort. You would get a letter in the post along with instructions about how to claim.
