                    Hello,
The stock market is down due to coronavirus.
This is a short time response to a short term problem.
So, now is a good time to invest.
Buy low, sell high later on when coronavirus goes away and the markets bounce back.
Problem, I have no idea where to start.
What companies should I invest in?
I am new to investing.
Which websites should I use for investing?
What is the best strategy?

The 'best strategy' is dependent on your approach to risk, about which we know nothing. You suddenly have £100K to invest, so for what term are you planning to hold these investments? Are you prepared to accept substantial short-term losses, should the market fall further?
Obviously, you should use your full £20K ISA allowance for this year (and next, from 6/4). And put £4K of that in a LISA, if you qualify for one.No free lunch, and no free laptop 1 1

Coronavirus is having a huge effect and was the trigger for the drop but is it the entire cause or are there other factors involved?
How can one tell how long or short term the response of the market, or the underlying cause(s) are?
Is now a good time to invest or is this the start of a long, drawnout decline. Or worse?
Buy low, sell high - this might be high compared to future values.

If you don't know what you are doing, you are best off buying a tracker fund rather than selecting individual shares.0
