    It’s was less about that (that was their justification) it was the 14 day cooling off period being ‘written out’ of their t&c’s

    Well yes, that’s your viewpoint - but on balance you’re lucky to have a refund and it could have been avoided by cancelling on time.

    I think that was the point being made :)
