Part Exchange Questions (Taylor Wimpey)

We've recently accepted a part exchange offer from Taylor Wimpey and next week I'll visit the show home to go over some information and ask a few questions - I thought I'd ask here also in the event someone has experience of what we're going through. Firstly it's all looking good, they've offered a good price for the house which leaves us with more equity that we initially thought.
I'm thinking ahead, I've heard that TW will allow us to stay in the current home until our new home is ready though there is no mention of this in the terms and conditions. When our new house is ready, how long to TW give us (Or any other developers that offer a similar scheme) to move out of our current home and into our new one?

It's usually completion on 10 days notice. i.e. They give you 10 days formal notice that you must move.
But they might give you indications before that, and obviously you'll be able to see the progress of the house as it's being built, which might help you judge.1 -
We're doing PX with Stewart Milne and they give us 2-3 days to move to the new house once we've got the keys1

Thank you. We opted to fit flooring ourselves but they've told us they won't allow any early access for the carpet fitters - I'd like to get these down before we start to move our belongings in.0
