No numbers on storage heater dials

Hi everyone. I have a heatstore hsx24n storage heater. At some point someone has changed the dials. Now the dials on it have no numbers . So I’m unsure what would be the high or low settings on the input and output dials. Do I presume that turning the dials fully clockwise would be max input and output and fully anti-clockwise would be lowest input and output? 🤷♂️

Afternoon output should be 3.
Evening output should be 6.
Turn output back to 0 at bedtime.
Otherwise you'll run out of stored heat by 5pm!A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
