Anyone know: If I add a credit card for my wife to my account, does that affect either of our credit scores?

Possibly, but as they are, in all practical terms, randomly generated numbers, no-one can tell. Any changes in your data, positive or negative usually result in a fall but as they are not a factor in lending decisions you need not worry one way or another.1
