Amazon charging for orders not sent

Placed an order with amazon, they blocked my account and suspended the order. I got on to their customer services about this and around 24 hours later my account was unblocked & I received an email to say my order had been cancelled, they did say I would need to place it again should I want the items. 
Decided to go elsewhere as in this window the prices had risen & I didn’t want to risk the account being blocked again.
Amazon have now charged me for the orders after emailing to say they had been cancelled ? But they have also removed all order history from my account so I am unable to see what is happening at my end. Customer services don’t want to help at all, I have been passed round from person to person on the phone and have gotten no where. 
Where do I stand with this as I have basically payed for items I’m not receiving and they’ve deleted all info for me to see.

    Doesn't it take 7 days for you to receive credit?

    Amazon now charge on order, not dispatch in alot, if not all, cases. This is a fairly recent change to normal charging on dispatch.
    Therefore if they have cancelled the orders it will take the usual time to be refunded to your account/card.

    Its odd how the account was blocked, why was it blocked.
    And why was all order history removed.
    Very odd, have you done anything to upset Amazon ?
