    Is it this one:

Looking at the reviews on their own website, the latest (from Marc V) is a complaint about it not being 'all inclusive'.
    Same complaint from Karine D.

But I think what was specifically in the description is key.
I've seen complaints from some people that the AI wasn't availalbe 24/7 when the website was clear it wasn't.
I've seen complaints from some people that watersports (for example) wasn't free when the website was was it wasn't part of the AI package.

Over to the OP for clarification.

IF. The OP comes back and posts the  screenshots/description of what was actually booked, I am sure it will be clarified?

    One would think so?
Or maybe the OP has re-read the description and discovered that it wasn't really as all inclusive as they expected.
Or they are still waiting to be let out of detention?

Attached screenshots.  VP have changed description to full board now.  Maybe we were naive, but we thought the 20% discount was on “special” restaurants, like they have in the Maldives.  Booked this for my 50th and wish I had read more reviews before booking.  Will do in future.

  • Thanks for all your comments.  It wasn’t AI at all. I don’t think a cup of tea or glass of coke/sprite/water really constitutes AI. Maybe the resort were not clear with VP, but if alcoholic drinks are not included this should be clear.  They do have an ABTA number.
  • Sorry for delay in responding, had a full on day yesterday and didn’t expect quite so many responses, so quickly.

I think you misread the blurb.
I think you - like others who left reviews on the hotel website - believed that food and drink was included.
The middle screenshot looks like it's a generic section, rather than specific to the hotel you booked. Is that true?
At the very bottom of the screenshot, there's a section that says 'Where to go in 2020 to enjoy the All...'
Did that take you to the hotel you booked?
Reading your screenshots, I think I would have queried exactly what was meant by 'all Inclusive' and what was meant by '20% discount at all food and beverage outlets'.

I think I'd accept the £200 and move on.

If what you lost out on was the cost of drinks, and they've reimbursed you for that, I'm not sure what else you can expect.

Thanks Pollycat, I am going to do that. I was so annoyed at the time and the holiday was shocking, even without the AI issue. Definitely buyer beware on this resort.

The middle screenshot was from their website when we realised we’d been sold s doozy. The other two are from my confirmation of booking email.  I don’t think we checked the second link about where to go for AI, but am sure this hotel would have been listed, as I booked it under an AI search and it was confirmed as AI on all of my booking confirmations.

Thanks David we spent around 250 on food and drinks(soft and alcoholic). Part of my complaint was also about the state of the accommodation, abysmal service in the main buffet/bar even when trying to get a soft drink and the dirty pool.  However, I am going to accept their offer, move on as suggested and never use this company again.
