Can CGT (under the 12K allowance) push you into a higher tax band?

I know that savings and dividends (under their respective allowances ) are used to determine your tax band: but will CGT do the same?

    Income tax band is one thing, CGT is another. Your income tax band is not affected by your CGT liability, I've tested that myself.
