SEARCH FAULT - 10/03 Appears to be working OK

No posts since about 8:30pm on Wednesday 26th are being found by Search.
This has been reported to MSE.

Beware of Dupes - we have already had a few.

It is not fixed. It is getting worse.

Can I suggest searching using Google whilst it isn't working? Found the multiple hand cream postings that way

*Very grumpy face alert*
For those of us who are really trying our best to keep this forum going, despite all the issues we've been told are being worked on, (At the same rate our local council fixes potholes, it seems ) The worsening search function is another kick in the teeth. We're taking time out of our own comping, which is already much more difficult, to post, only to find we're posting dupes as search still can't be relied upon.  Hardly a reward for loyalty...

Just noticed this after discovering all I was posting was dupes. 

Gonna hold fire on posting anything until it's sorted out, Someone PM or @ me if there's any progress.

I am searching by using ctrl+F, then searching for a word in the title, i do it upto about 10 pages, it's time consuming, but I'm hoping it stops me posting dupes

ive got to say i am not liking this new competition layout. 
How are you all searching ? I don’t seem to be finding many and most say “game over”
So frustrating

Search is completely useless.  It brings hundreds of duplicates and unrelated threads.  I struggle to find specific comps and even had to go to another site to find one this morning as search was not bringing it up.
