Barclays online banking

I simply would like to transfer some money from my 'Barclays Bank Account' to one of my Barclays Savings Accounts.....

It seems the 'Barclays Bank Account' does not allow you to do this?

A message comes up saying I need more than 1 eligible account, whatever that means. What determines an eligible account and how do I find out?

Am I simply only able to withdraw from this bank account from a cash machine? and then go to a bank to transfer it into another account? or do I sign up for some other Barclays bank account and then ta-dahhhh I can now do an online transfer?

    It's a technical problem with Barclays online banking if you open your account online. You need to ring them and tell them the error code and the way they fix it is to assign you a new online banking membership number.

    I have had my Online account locked by Barclays and they advise customers to phone the number 0345 600 2323. I tried for an hour last night and today, it has currently been on speaker for 4 Hours 15 minutes. Has anyone else had problems with this number?

    Wait times are awful at the moment, I tried to call with a different issue and couldn't get through either.

    I didn't have an error code. it just said my Online Banking with PINsentry has been locked. When I try to log on, it only gives me that option. I'm currently on hold after being transferred using the Mobile App. Only 10 minutes thus far. :-)

    Sorry, don't want to hijack this thread but wish to share my experiences with trying to get through to the exact number (0345 600 2323 - Barclays Digital Helpdesk).  Have given up on several occasions where I've waited beyond an hour and a half!  Only once it said I would been seen to in 2 minutes - this was 15 mins into the queue, but seems I was just left hanging!

    Background ....
    Tried to register for online banking, completed details as required on first page (savings account with card number), but does not progress to second page.  Instead, presented with:
    74 - sorry, there's a technical problem.  It could mean your registration request hasn't been processed.  Please call us ion 0345 600 2323 etc etc .....  quoting error code 74.

    When I call the number, it says it's their 'Digital Helpdesk', but after entering sort code and account number, it sticks me on the back of their telephone banking queue?
    Does anyone know what error code 74 means?

    I got through to them on the phone, also had an error code. He said I would access to my account within 24 hours. Checked, still nothing

    Locked out of my own damn account and I dont even have a card so cant withdraw cash!
