You say that you were refused a balance transfer card. Was this before or after your credit card company reduced your credit limit?
It may be that this application somehow triggered a review of your account. Credit applications usually result in a hard search record on your credit file which may be visible to your cc company.0 -
Hi it was after as I dont want to be beholden to a credit card company that can drop your credit by 8000 over night for no apparent reason.. Interestingly on none of my CRA reports is there any suggestion that my current credit card company has carried out a search...0
