For someone based in Scotland with unmanageable debt are there any other options to be debt free other than a Protected Trust Deed?

Sequestration (bankruptcy, there's a minimal assest option too), Debt Arrangement Scheme (looks to be like a DMP)How much debt do you have ? Do you own your own home ? A SOA might help. I believe in Scotland you need to have received debt advice before going for a formal insolvency option, places like CAB might be a good option0
