Best way to invest £3000 to a savings account....able to add and take from it easy though

After some advice on above title.... have a few thousand in a Co Op savings account. Have just received a letter saying that from April 2020 the interest rates are dropping from 0.46% to 0.25%. I went to the back today to ask what options I have and basically none unless I leave the money with out touching it for a year. We use the savings to add to but also from time to time take away from. Any recommendations please? The Co Op did have one savings which was 1.30% but you could only draw out up to 4 times a year. I like having the freedom of taking from the account if needed etc
Thanks in advance

Nationwide bank account probably? Flex direct account gets you 5%.
EDIT: although that only allows you to have £2500 in it. you'd still need to find somewhere for the other £500.

Thanks for reply. I was hoping I could just open a savings account not have to swap over bank accounts?0

Why would you need to swap banks? Just open a FlexDirect account for the 5%.

This, you can have as many current accounts as you like, you don't have to switch or anything to take advantage. Although if you do switch, find a friend who has a Nationwide account and ask them to refer you. You would both get £100 then.penners324 said:Why would you need to swap banks?
