What's going on with plumbworld?

Over a week ago I ordered a new bathroom, taps, shower and fittings from plumbworld. I have used them in the past with no problem.
I paid £35 delivery, I consciously only ordered items showing as in stock.

After I completed the order I received an email to say my items would be despatched and I could expect delivery with 5 working days.
I got an email last Wednesday to say my order was on it's way. I didnt check online so was really shocked when all that arrived was a sink basin (no vanity unit) and a bath panel.
I tried to phone but after 20 mins I was still 18th in the queue and I wasnt moving. I tried online chat but after typing in my problem I was taken straight to email.
I went to the web page which said delivered, but theres absolutely nothing on there about the sink. All the other items are listed but showing as out of stock. I clicked on each and every item and each one had a note to say 47 available or 30 available, so there is clearly an issue, they arent showing as out of stock on the website.  On my orders page there is a red note to say there is a change of warehouse and there could be a slight delay, if I cant wait, then manage the order below. However I have paid £35 for delivery of a bath panel that fits a specific bath and a sink for a specific vanity unit, what do I do with them?.
I have emailed 3 times and the reply says they will respond in 48 hours and I am very important to them, I have not heard anything.
I pressed 1 for sales on the phone and spoke to someone immediately, who put me through to customer service, to hear the same message you are number 16 in the queue which 20 mins later went down to 15.
Anyone else having any issues?

There are quite a few similar complaints on Trustpilot. My builder ordered a specific low-profile bath for me before Christmas and it was "delayed" 3 times. Once he was told it hadn't turned up at the local branch, despite him having a delivery note, the following week they said they rejected it as damaged and finally, there wasn't enough room on the lorry. He cancelled the order and we got the bath delivered from another supplier.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

    Thankyou.

I have just read trustpilot. It really could be me writing the reviews. Definitely suggests there is a problem. I looked again my delivery charge is £39.99. I'm convinced if I cancel I will be out of pocket, what do I do with what has already been delivered,  they are of no use as they are. I dont have the bathroom fitter for a couple of weeks. Maybe I will see what happens, if need be I will go elsewhere at the time. I wont use them again. I may try trading standards, how can it be right they are showing as in stock but once paid for they arent available.

Why don't you just use a local builders' merchant with a bathroom dept? I've done that on several occasions in the last few years and I've been pleasantly surprised at the prices. For example, with my last order of shower tray, shower and taps, the builders merchant beat the internet price by a substantial margin.

Thank you Dave, the truth is there arent any local ones I can use.
It also doesnt help my current predicament.

I live in the back end of nowhere in particular, so merchants I use with showrooms are 22 miles and 25 miles distant.
While what I'm saying may not help you, it might assist others who believe that on-line is the way to go with everything. My last order to City Plumbing (part of Travis Perkins) took only 2 days to arrive and it was all there in one delivery. There was nothing wrong or broken, but if there had been it would have been back in the depot the same day and a replacement ordered or issued.
