Charges for VT my car

Hi please could any help me?
I VT our car last month, after paying well over 3/4’s of the amount owed. The car was a 61 plate focus, we purchased it from Moto Novo.
Our car was looked after and serviced by my mechanic brother in law, so I was lacking service stamps. They are now trying to charge me £300 for Service history??
Also I took lots of photos of the car before they took it away, and they want £200 to have the Alloys refurbished, when they weren’t in bad condition at all. (The car had done 155.00 miles when we purchased it!!)
I’ve tried arguing both of these things but I’m having no luck, and now they are sending threatening letters!

assuming your brother works for a garage, why don't you give him the service book and get him to stamp it. If u don't have the service book now, buy one off ebay for a few quid.
Lack of service history is a legitimate charge I believe.1 -
He doesn’t work for a garage anymore, that’s why I couldn’t get it done. Thanks very much for helping though.0

Legitimate charges - no documented service history, kerbed alloys. Standard charges.katelouhollis said:He doesn’t work for a garage anymore, that’s why I couldn’t get it done. Thanks very much for helping though.1
