What companies insure high value rings/watches? Struggling to find company who insure items over 10K

Hi all,
I recently got engaged and need to arrange for both buildings and contents insurance for my ring and watch.
However when I am trying to get quotes online most of the companies set a limit to £10k per item or less. That would be more than enough for my watch (3k) but I am worried that even though I am listing my high value items individually that they will not be insured to that amount they should be as lots of websites only state personal items up to the value of £2k ish.
Has anybody used any companies that do definitely insure these said items?

Hi Webster, you probably need to try the specialist brokers/insurers who may not be on line. If you google high value home insurance a few options should come up

try Hiscox1

I'm insured with https://www.johnlewisfinance.com/insurance/home-insurance.html but don't have any stupidly expensive watches or jewellery.
In the first few questions of 'get a quote' it has:
"Do you own valuables (jewellery, watches, works of art etc) with a combined value of more than £40,000?
Does your property contain any single items (jewellery, watches, works of art etc) that are worth more than £20,000?"
There are options for 'unspecified' valuables single item limits, and you can itemise other higher value items, IIRC.
You may need their top-range insurance though if certain limits are wrong.

There will be other, similar, policies out there.
Ask any decent insurance broker as well to sort something bespoke to your needs.0 -
Chubb or Hiscox
Not sure if Chubb only are available via a broker0
