Can anyone help advise where I go with this next. DFS Sofa just under 3 years old. Still paying on their 0% 4 year credit. Leather is cracked and split on 2 cushions. DFS stating it is out of warranty therefore they wont do anything or they might do something at a cost. As stated the sofa is only 3 years old, very well looked after, still paying for it (original price £1300 with their 5 year accidental damage) and in my view it has not lasted a reasonable time.
Do I have any weight with the Finance company ? Is it we are basically stuck with a crappy sofa and we have to pay for any repairs?
Its not the first problem we had with it, as it was they had to come and put extra filling in during first x months -
I have been trying to search for consumer rights etc but cannot find anything specific for this.

Consumer Rights are against the vendor and are not warranty .Sticky top of page .Vendor is entitled to ask you to proof your assertion ( not lasted reasonable time ) via an independent report .0

You may be asked how you cared for the leather. 'Feeding' helps to keep it supple and reduces drying out. Our suite is 30 years old and is still supple, but it gets regular cleans and feeds with Gliptone products.2
