Wanting Off ESA, Hopefully Back to Work!

I just wanted to add, we have a young man working with us under permitted work and he is thought no less of. He has learning difficulties and whilst he does need close supervision and can really only cope with very easy tasks, he is actually incredibly helpful and is a great asset to our team. He came and volunteered for a week or two to see if it would work for him ( and us ) and the boss employed him as soon as transport could be arranged for him to get to and from work
Please don't think people will think any less of you. Lots of employers like my own, have need of people who are reliable and want to work, but cant offer full time roles. This young man comes in on our two quieter days so he can be supervised, but the work he does, gets us through our busier days with a lot less stress and a lot less overtime hours being required
Good luck with it all2 -
I would advise strongly against coming off ESA immediately after such a long period away from work. There is a big difference between having the desire to get back into the workplace, and actually being able to cope with the sudden change. Permitted Work provides the safety net for if things dont' work out. It's going to be stressful starting work, (it's stressful changing jobs too) and will be more so if you discard that safety net.
