Soundproofing mat under laminate flooring - floor spongy and soft

Has anyone used Karma Soundlay Plus soundproofing mats? I can't post the link, it is 12 mm thick consisting of 2 layers of heavy rubber with spongy material in the middle, claiming to have superior airborne and impact noise blocking properties.
The product was laid directly on floorboards and 19 mm click system laminate on top of it. Now I have few issues and concerns:
1. The floor feels quite spongy and soft when walked on
2.   Bed legs by the wall pushed a couple of planks in  and i can see 2-3 mm indentation gap between the joints of next plank (the short end) - does it mean the joints are damaged? The adjoining plank where the gap is easily moves up and down when pressed.
3. I can hear the floorboards creeking downstairs when walked on
4. Performance is not as good as I hoped. I purchased the product mainly for airborne noise reduction between downstairs and upstairs, there is some improvement but for the amount of money spent I expected better. I saw my carpenter laying the mats and there were some gaps around perimeter, and between the mats, especially if they were cut, around radiator pipes etc. Would the gaps affect the soundproofing performance significantly or would this not make much difference?
Any advice on solution to the above problems?
Thank you

The floorboards are under the underlay and laminate, so those won't help with the floorboards creaking. That issue needed to be dealt with before the new floor was laid.

Did you check with the supplier whether that particular floor would work with that underlay?  From what you say there seem to be compatibility issues.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I would guess the flooring failed, Would need to see the install instructions for the floor.

Karma Soundlay Plus From the website.
"Suitable for concrete (can be used with timber floating floors)"
"Both systems tested on basic floor constructions"
"Suitable for all final floor finishes"
