FHS 1 became uncompetitive for a short time before the big jump from 2.95% to 5%. Maybe you withdrew or didn't fund in that period?

where_are_we said:Nationwide Flex Regular Saver 3 @6.5% - Opened a new one, but COP for opening deposit from my external current account was not recognised and there was no way of overriding it. So had to do a FP to my NW current account and then do a transfer. But no way of setting up 12 SO`s as yet. Have I been too quick and will COP work eg tomorrow?I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

For those with maturing FHS 1 accounts are you opening version 2 with Coventry?
It doesn't seem as competitive and requires notice to withdraw the funds..0 -

It's not competitive at all with the withdrawal restriction unless you're seriously considering getting a mortgage with them.1 -

It doesn't seem as competitive and requires notice to withdraw the funds..No, the beauty of the FHS1 is that it essentially was an easy access account, the only restriction being limiting deposits to £1000 per month. Sadly mine matures next week.The new one's notice requirement means its no longer an easy access account.1 -
