Advice for financing carpet with low credit score

Have decades old carpet which runs throughout the flat i really want to replace. Cleaning it etc isn't working any more as the strains and worn carpet areas are very visible. Tried Carpetright but wasn't accepted for the finance. Besides waiting to save for another year or so, are there any recommendations for carpet finance in the south London area please? Alot of places in the North of England offer this service to pay weekly etc what I can i see.

Check your local independent stores. There are several near me in liverpool that offer weekly pay, they advertise on Facebook. Might be the same near you0

Thanks for the prompt response. I've seen those type of services offered outside of London but next to nothing for those of us in London . Will check locally though0

I went with pay weekly carpets as I wanted carpets down ASAP as for my small living room it cost £380 with fitting...
But luckily the men that came out to fit the carpets offered to do my landing and stairs for £180 (upfront, not weekly) so I think it balances the initial extortionate cost out?I honestly wouldn’t recommend them, if I’d have had a bit of patience I could have got my full flat carpeted for that price lol0 -

Whilst I sympathise with the OP's position, realistically any credit available to those with a "low credit score" is likely to be at a very high cost, directly or indirectly. Thus does the debt spiral.1 -

Its not down to your score which no one except you can see, your history is what can be seen.
