video files on Epson projector

I have a slideshow on a usb which was created in iPhoto on a Mac and has been converted from m4v format to both mp4 and mpeg files with the aim of showing via an Epsom EH-TW5200 projector. BUT the projector is not recognising and just says ‘no file’. Grrrrrr🤯🤬!!

According to the manual, the projector will only display .jpg images. Details on p43 of the manual here:  https://www.epson.co.uk/support?productID=12422#manuals

Plug a computer into the projector and play the file on it, is the usual way to work it.
