I am serving documents on the defendant and I have to return form N215 to "the court". Obviously there is absolutely nowhere that I can find that says "which court"... I rang the helpline last week for guidance on a separate part of the case and I was on hold for 40 minutes aaargh....

Assuming you’re using Money Claims Online (MCOL) there’s a section on useful contacts (including addresses) here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/762843/mcol-userguide-eng.pdf#page230

You can actually find it in Practice Direction 7E at paragraph 6.2 which refers to mcolaos@hmcourts-service.gsi.gov.uk. Unfortunately, that email address no longer works and the one you should use is ccbc@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk. The CPR is being updated and the CCBC email address will replace the mcolaos one from 6 April 2020.

An even more up to date email address for the County Court Business Centre is ccbc@justice.gov.uk
justice.gov.uk replaced hmcts.gsi.gov.uk a couple of years ago.0
