Thomas cook refund

Hello
Looking for advice please... I booked a thomas cook holiday but my story is a bit different. 2 weeks before they went bust I got a letter saying the hotel are changing the age of their kids club. It meant our children couldn't attend. We had the option to cancel the holiday. I cancelled on the Saturday and the next day they went bust. I paid by direct debit, I got two payments refunded but not the third as it was just taken out and it was shown on their system.
I have not had a refund since so I filled out an online claim about 5 months ago.
Wondering what I do now? Thanks

Can your bank not assist under the terms of the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme?
I would have thought if three direct debit payments made and the equivalent of only two refunded then the bank could see this.
Given the weekend time time frame perhaps the money did not even reach TC and is sitting in some bank suspense account.0
