I have a lot of experience of saving money in fixed term savings accounts which are FSCS protected but can someone confirm if Fixed Term Bonds have the same protection up to £85,000?

Some fixed term deposits market themselves as fixed term bonds. Some fixed term bonds market themselves (incorrectly) as fixed term deposits.
There are also fixed interest investments, fixed interest securities, fixed interest investment bonds amongst other things.
It would probably be better if you tell us what product you are referring to when you say fixed term bond as some of them could have £85k FSCS protection, some 100% FSCS protection and some no FSCS protection2
