Selling Inherited Property

Hi all, many thanks if you've helped me out before with the death process, really appreciate all the help I've been given.
So, we now have probate for my father and want to sell my parents house. My mother died overseas and she is still listed as joint owner on the land registry forms.
Is this something that a conveyancing solicitor can deal with as part of the process of selling, or us this something we need to tackle beforehand?
Any advice for a clueless executor appreciated, as ever.

Yes, you'll need a death certificate. If you don't have one or can't get one then this isn't a problem but the process will take longer. You'll need to prove your mum's passed away. and your dad too1

Presumably the property was held by your parents as joint tenants, so your father inherited automatically when your mother died ?If the property was held as tenants-in-common, then you'll also need to show who inherited your mothers share.1

I had similar, just gave death certs to solicitor and it all got sorted in the process of conveyancing1

Great, thanks everyone that has certainly given me some reassurance! Yes we have death certificates for both and probate for Dad (they would have been joint tenants) so think we are good to go.
