Internal Door Fitting?

I want to get some internal doors ordered for a carpenter to hang but i don't know what to do about the sizes, would i just order the closest match to the door frame just as long as it is slightly larger dimensions etc.

Slightly larger is fine, a lot larger can cause various problems, depending on the type of door. If it's a decorative panel door, taking too much off the sides/top or bottom can look odd. If it's a cheap flush door taking too much off can mean you run out of wood & end up with just the honeycomb centre.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
