What percentage deposit do you have?
If it makes you feel any better, I have a case on my desk at the minute with 9 defaults and 2 CCJs - I am 99% sure this person will have a mortgage by next week. The "record" so to speak is 15 defaults - they got a mortgage too.
It says started 21/06/2014 and settled Nov 2019 (write off date).
We have £50k and looking at a mortgage of £240k
I would expect that to be placed at normal rates every day of the week.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Apart from that default we will be totally debt free at point of application.0 -
Im not sure I rate your broker. Sounds like he is only capable of placing cases where a broker is not even needed.
I think you could probably pick a lender at random and have a 50/50 chance of getting it through.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Our client had a £250 default for electricity registered to his account 38 days ago and we have secured lending for him with a mainstream lender.
You need to forget about having a nervous breakdown and engage a more experienced broker.I am a Mortgage Broker
