Penalty Charge Notice for Contravention 27

I have been given a penalty as I have aparently parked in a special enforcement area adjacent to a footway, cycle track or a verge lowered to meet the level of the carriagaway (Contravention 27). Could someone help me form a legal argument as I don't think I have done anything wrong and there are no signs to worn drivers no to park there. Please see the photos of my car Reno Clio and I would be grateful for any advice.

That sounds like a council ticket, is it?  If so, you need to pop yourself over to a forum called Pepipoo, they are the council specialists.  If it is not council, who is the PPC?

From what i recall the slope doesnt count, but you need to check there. Sign up and READ the other threads inthe COUNCIL section first
There of course do not need to be signs telling you to pakr over dropped curbs.

That is not a contravention.  No signs are needed, it's a dropped kerb but you are not in front of it.

The Adjudicator will agree with you, in the end. 
Pepipoo will help, as the Council might refuse at first stage.
