Income Protection Insurance payments + Enhanced PIP

I am now having to make a claim against my Income protection insurance after the 12 month deferred period is up. I no longer get any JSA or UC only the NI credits but I have been awarded Enhanced PIP payments (next assessment in 10 years).
My question is will the PIP payment be classed as a benefit to be deducted from any Income protection payment if they accept my claim?

Thanks. I have Degenerative Myopia with a range of eye issues within that description as well as being the highest myopic on the books at my local county hospital. It’s a progressive disability so will only get worse until I am fully classed as blind. Currently registered as Sight impaired (since 2014 but told I could have registered back in 2005). Have fought tooth and nail to stay in work but that was taken out of my hands last April after 42 years of working.Being out of work is incredibly boring. How people can stand being out of work is beyond me. Drives you nuts...0
