Feb Family sun using 241 Amex vouchers?

I am likely to have 2 companion vouchers due to be issued in the next 2 weeks, as both my wife and I will tip over the £20k Amex spend on each of our cards soon

We love our Winter sun, and want to take our two pre-school kids away in Q1 2021. Don't want them to just waddle around the pool all day long, so it needs to be a venue where we can do the odd interesting day trip.

Where is good to go, with decent availability for 4 seats in Club World using companion vouchers? Kids are 3 and 4, so they will each need their own seat

I've looked at South Africa, Maldives, and Mauritius on seatspy.com and rewardflightfinder.com, but there doesnt seem to be any availability for 4 people in CW in Jan or Feb next year.

I think you need to be realistic, half term is very unlikely to yield what you look for. BA guarantee 2 Club World seats on every flight, they generally disappear within 24 hours of going on sale, with BA usually 355 days before departure. There is never a guarantee of 4 seats on any flight and clearly it all depends on demand, right now the Far East not surprisingly have lots of availability and in the last 24 hours BA have released lots of seats to the US for Avios bookings through the next few months, indicating that bookings aren't great.
It may be that seats for mid February next year have yet to be released but you would need to be awake at midnight and try for 2 seats in Club and two elsewhere and spilt yourselves (one adult with each child)up to have any chance, and be aware that thousands of others will be doing exactly the same at the same time

Most likely that seats haven't been released yet. BA release 355 days ahead of time.

If you're BAEC Gold, then phone the gold line. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful team - with the added benefit of seeing availability and being able to book it for you.

You need to be up at midnight 355 days before the date you want to travel. BA guarantee 4 club world reward seats will be released on every flight. You could even phone the gold line at 2 minutes before midnight and have them ready to pounce, I'm sure they will be used to that.
Then you need to repeat the performance for the return journey. (Or book your self and then phone the gold line and ask them to link the return booking to the outward attached to the 2-4-1 voucher and refund the avios back to your account).
It's possible the silver and bronze lines may work just as well.

kids of 3 and 4 are very young to appreciate some of the amazing sites you could see in South Africa, I'd be tempted to wait until they are older.

Unless things have changed recently, they only guarantee 2 CW seats. I think it will be tough to find 4 CW seats to the destinations mentioned.

Maybe it is 4 economy seats and 2 club world? In which case put the kids in economy (joke).
